SHUTTLINER developed by the L&A Division has gained attention in the logistics field as a practical transport system driven by linear motors.
To enable compact carriers and efficient transportation of loads up to 25 kg, a dedicated linear motor was developed to achieve rapid acceleration and deceleration without unnecessary energy loss.
In SHUTTLINER systems equipped with these linear motors, the spacing between carriers can be centrally controlled.
This allows multiple carriers to operate at close intervals, offering higher throughput and smoother handling than conventional conveyor systems.
The system is expected to play an important role in the expanding field of small-lot logistics.

Linear motors are also employed in the Clean FA Division’s Overhead Hoist Transport (OHT) G Series.
For equipment operating in cleanroom environments, one of the most critical requirements is minimizing particle generation.
Because linear motors do not rely on gearboxes or drive wheels, they significantly reduce particle-emitting and maintenance-intensive components.
