To prevent downtime caused by failures, deterioration of product quality, and serious accidents, preventive maintenance of machine tools is becoming increasingly indispensable.
Muratec’s AI-based remote diagnostic system, Primary Doctor Service, provided as part of its after-sales support, uses a fault diagnosis engine to evaluate deterioration and abnormalities in component parts by comparing changes in motor current values and vibrations—resulting from increased resistance observed during abnormalities in bearings, guides, and other elements—with data from new equipment.
The system enables machine deterioration assessment using data on the number of corrective inputs made by customers, assessment based on axis load diagrams, as well as deterioration assessment even under low sampling conditions.
