In an automatic winder, yarn less than 1 mm in diameter is unwound from bobbins containing several tens of grams of yarn, and wound onto large packages at speeds of up to 100 km/h.
Even on a single bobbin, yarn tension varies as the yarn position and remaining yarn volume change during unwinding.
Excessive tension can cause quality deterioration, yarn breakage, and potential problems in subsequent processes.
Our winder continuously monitors the remaining yarn on each bobbin and uses pressure sensing for real-time tension feedback, enabling stable high-speed winding.
