The F-305 is a complete workgroup fax solution designed to meet the fax requirements of a small to midsize workgroup. The F-305 features a high-speed 33.6 Kbps modem, 2 second-per-page transmission speed, 80-sheet automatic document feeder, 200 location autodialer, broadcasting, group dialing and 72-hour document memory back-up. In addition to powerful fax capabilities the F-305 enables standard PC connectivity via the high-speed USB port. Users requiring a faster print connection can upgrade to the PCL550 which enables PCL 5e/6 print connectivity. A high-speed 10/100 BaseT Ethernet connection (NP405) can be added to enable workgroups to utilize the F-305 as a shared printing resource on the network.
The F-305 features a standard 500-sheet paper cassette that can hold both letter and legal-size paper, while the 50-sheet multipurpose bypass tray can be used to print letterhead, envelopes, labels and more. An optional 500-sheet paper cassette can be added to increase the total paper capacity to 1,050 sheets.
The F-305 has an MSRP of $1,695. The toner cartridge for the F-305 is rated at 7,500 @ 4% page coverage, while the drum unit is rated at 20,000 pages. Both supplies are designed for quick and easy user replacement.
